Sábado pasado se anunciaron los ganadores a los Premios Locus del año 2015. Entre los ganadores encontramos grandes nombres como Ann Leckie, a pesar de tener solo dos novelas en su haber pero como multitud de premios, y Joe Abercrombie y grandes editoriales como son Tor y Orbit.
Personalmente no puedo dar mucha opinión sobre los ganadores ya que, a pesar que me he leído algo de casi todas las categorías, no he leído todo para poder valorar con justicia. Aún, sí que puedo decir, que me ha sorprendido el galardón a Ancillary Sword a la mejor novela de Ciencia Ficción del año. Como ya comenté en otro post, me parece un novela bastante inferior a su predecesora Ancillary Justice, y creo que tanto The Three-Body Problem de Cixin Liu como la trilogía de Southern Reach de Jeff VanderMeer, que son las otras novelas que he podido leer, están un peldaño por encima de la novela ganadora. Pero como digo siempre, para gustos, colores, así que felicitar a Ann Leckie por su nuevo éxito.
Respecto a otras categorías, me alegro por los galardones a Joe Abercrombie, que se lleva el premio a la mejor Novela Young Adult y el premio a la mejor Novelette. En el premio a la mejor Novella, felicitar a Nancy Kress aunque mi favorito era Daryl Gregory con la divertida y lovecraftiana historia, We Are All Completely Fine. Poco más he leído del resto de categorías y nominados así que no queda más que felicitar a todos los ganadores!
